How is the Daily Celestial Challenge Score calculated?
I have no damn clue and can't find anything about it? Are you supposed to rush the enemy?

I am also confused. Myself and most people only get 0 score. I have tried winning with both the countdown and destruction but still 0.
Me2. Yesterday was in the 10% of the playerbase, today 0 points, 78%... I dont understand
Same. From time to time, the leaderboard icon disappears. And how many games he did not play, always 0 points
Same here, always at 0 and today no further progress (I won quickly a "King of the hill" DM skirmish)
Yesterday I won the challenge in about 22 minutes and got around 2500 points, but didn't get placed on the leaderboard (it still said I had 0 points). I won the challenge twice today, both ending in about 17ish min. This time, however, I didn't get any info on how many points I got and it still says 0 on leaderboard...

It's broken, they need to fix it.

P.S. Is there no way to change difficulty??

i also don't know about this but was wandering that aswell.

and also oddly i think overall something ni the code was changed and is now showing the wrong difficulty overall.
when i was playing (multiple) human vs ai games, each time it was set up as titan difficulty but in the loadingscreen it showed "moderate" xD
anyone figured it out yet?

it appears the UI / direct feed seems to work now right after you win.
but no idea where it's getting it's scoring logic from?
I have no idea either. I tried multiple different strategies and never get high scores. Leaderboards looks like max point is 100k, and i can barely go above 80k.

Rushing and winning under 10 mins doesn't work.

KOTH win doesn't work.

Turtling and even going for wonder age doesn't work.

Using or not using god powers seem to not change anything.

Relics don't do anything either.

I'm really curious how it's calculated.
yeah man what a rubbish game "league" , doesn't even identify the parameters to which this scoring system is calculated.

just ran a few of today's deathmatch mission. i increased my time each time and suddenly i had a 10k drop off to the score when i had the best time.. ay lmao bs

There was a 1v1v1 regicide on mount olympus. If I was careful I could manage to defeat the regent with the expanded starting army bonus. That netted me about 14000 points. I also played one where I took out the first one with the starting army, then built up an economy and an army: 70000 points. Using norse (Loki), killing one regent, then berserking your villagers and killing another regent: 26000 points.

I once got 96000 on the Acropolis 1v1v1 king of the hill, where I managed to get a TC near the wonder early and had a decent run going, with good eco, decent army, heroic age quickly-ish, but I didn't get attacked much, so I think I lucked out and had both computers fight each other?

In the recent 1v1 KotH deathmatch my scores clearly went up by capturing settlements. Building a wonder didn't seem to do much for me.

It seems to be something related to having a full game. This is a big challenge when you can win each of them by bullying your computer opponents into early surrender.

clearly not as i just stated prior to your post that i killed the enemy in a 1v1 match two minutes faster than the game before and i got less points.

i don't even understand with how crap their AI sometimes behaves why FFA with multiple computers in it should even be a thing.

yeah i also caught wiffs of this.
except it's really awkward when it is a DM which you can just rofl stomp enemies in.

Considering how bugged is this game, i guess it's just random.
Don't forget that they call it as "retold version" but it's actually an open beta.
I think i figured it out. It's about K/D ratio. In fact, all score losses are related to your dead units. Nothing else. Absolutely nothing.

For deathmatch i picked hero area damage, hero speed and faster human unit train boons and get only turmas and turned them all to heroes. Captured the vault and defended it until time runs out while kiting and massacring enemy hordes. Lost only a few turmas till the end and got a whopping 96k score. Collected no relics and never built any town centers.

Edit: This also explains why i get my lowest scores with exploding prometheans strategy.
