AOTG Blessings only available in the campaign... why not skirmish?
I played the original Age of Mythology and found the game to be dull after replaying the Chinese and Greek, as they were the only two I enjoyed playing. There were also some tower defense mods and rpg mods that made me come back to AoM during that time that revitalized the game for me. Now for Retold, the campaign is somewhat lackluster as many of the maps are the same or feel the same. The difficulty ranges from weak sauce to downright sadist without any consideration of your progression through the campaign, mainly the "Boss battles" could use some work as they are incredibly easy when compared to the previous missions. Personally I see a lot of potential in the blessings as it could gear towards early rush builds or entire myth armies depending on the blessings you take. My buddy and I have been having a great time playing through the campaign trying out different blessings with different Gods. I find its a shame that they did not implement blessings outside of the campaign. True, some of the blessings could use some tweaking and more clarity as what they actually do, but when I found out the blessings are only in the campaign, I was devastated. The game more or less plays pretty much the same as the original with better graphics and fewer crashes. Overall, I think there should be a setting in the skirmish screen to allow blessings to be used or not.

personally i think each major and minor god should give blessing that can be used in aotg, the campaign provided ur given god/gods provide the blessing, and in multiplayer/ranked provided all players have unlocked the same plessings

could be kinda like skills in duel links where each god provides various blessings that passively aid you in battle and the twist could be an optional mode in skirmish/ranked/multiplayer
