Will Snapdragon Elite X laptops ever be supported?
These new laptops are getting popular since they have excellent battery life and performance, but unfortunately this game requires AVX instructions which is currently not emulated by Microsofts Prism emulator. So this game wont launch on these new ARM machines.

With Microsoft boasting about superior game compatibility with the new Prism on Windows ARM I expected their own game to at least run, most other games run well.

Is there any hope here, or is this whole "gaming on ARM" campaign just empty words from Microsoft?

Your only option is to play through Cloud Gaming Xbox which requires a subscription. Snapdragon Laptops are pathetic, even MacOS and Linux has more supported software for it and they are both extremely niche.

Microsoft Prism atm isn't there yet for proper gaming, only regular applications and some light weight titles at best.

Until their implementation is as efficient as let's say a Proton translation layer proper gaming on ARM notebooks is still a pipedream.

Atm you'd be better off with a regular X86 notebook running linux and using Proton compared to ARM.

You're using these products all wrong, these aren't designed for gaming but light office work due to the increased batttery life and lower power consumption.

Using it wrong? Oh, I forgot that when I played Baldurs Gate 3, all the other Age of games, xcom 2, rimworld and the whole flood of games that do work flawlessly on this laptop. It seems obvious to me you have never used one of these, yet preaching how to use one correctly.

You are pretty out of date, and your one computer per type of software concept is a ridiculous idea...
