Japan? No thanks.
India, ok.
whats wrong with japan? don't like the Yokai?
India has some good mythology and you rarely see it in games.
Would rather have Aztecs do to their heavy religion and the sacrifice for favor mentality. more expensive the unit you sacrifice the more favor it gives. Sacrifice a hero for a large boost.
Also quetzalcoatl main god would be fun, flying snakes.
Nothing wrong with Japan, I just don't like to see weeb stuff infused into every game I play.
India is interesting though.
Oh mythological Japan is nothing like the weeb stuff. It makes the weeb stuff look like childs play.
I am aware because I am not an idiot. I just don't want this content to attract this...pool..
That is a bad reason to not want it though, that is not wanting something because it might attract like a small amount of idiots.
Sorry we already have furries from half the gods.
Aztecs would be a poor pick since their most familiar mythological creature, the feathered serpent, is already there with the Egyptians.
They also have no cavalry, no ships, no siege. They lack in too many categories, if they want to add a meso american civ, it should be an earlier one too I think. There is bound to be one with a richer mythology.
Though for me Celts would be the first pick.
Strong mythology with werewolves, fairies, goblins and much more familiar creatures, something interesting can be done with their druids and chariots too. They would be very different from the Norse and make them less isolated too.
Babylonians or persians could also be good to have.
Well I don't want the good old AoM that way , altered with new stuff. If they want new stuff ,they should simply make an AoM2.
The Chinese already were a bad idea for the definitive edition.
you do realize this is basicly AoM2 right?
Celts, yeah werewolves would be fun, a unit that can swap between a standard and myth unit. Just imagine it in its default form it looks like their standard melee unit, but can swap to wolf form at the push of a button, at the cost of favor, and while turning back is free you can only do it after the unit gets a kill.
