The Immortal Pillars (Chinese Pantheon) Trailer

For those that haven't seen it, they've just released a trailer for the new Chinese pantheon. No release date given, but it looks like it'll be appearing very soon. What do you all think? Personally, I'm glad they redesigned the Chinese.

Yes but the minor gods are not always gods so to speak. Some of them are just demi gods. which is what Wukong is concidered.

I don't think they are going to miss on a popular character like that, and AoM is no stranger to mixing ancient and more recent stuff (ie. Greece having Macedonian units early in the game or elephants being more of a Ptolemee deal that came much later than chariots, etc...)

Wukong is considered many things and there is no consensus on what he is as he is a character from a novel

If Jade Emperor is one of the new main gods, then maybe you can put him as a age up choice towards the end. The 3 from EE don't make a lot of sense as they don't interact with him at all

Sure, we can have gunpowder weapons in the Chinese unit line up (joking)
Gods wise they should be related to the main god and not just thrown in for the sake of being there

That's an important info. They mentioned 4 gods in the description and that confirm what we thought after the Freyr extension. They'll add one more main god for all the classic pantheon. Let's hope there will be at least one with the Immortal Pillard DLC.

Hindus would indeed be fun to have.

Except Hinduism is too modern, vedism is more accurate with Indra, Siva, Kali and maybe Visnu for the main gods.
