also how many % has the miner farming gold if i compare with a normal villg?
(it does not account for economic upgrades)
I am using Greek villagers as the baseline.
Greek: 100%
Atlantean: 150% (Hero Citizens: 165%; they do not require dropoff points)
Egyptian: 90% (can be empowered by pharaoh/Ra priests; hence why it is so low)
Norse Gatherer: 95%
Norse Dwarf: 80% for food/wood; 125% for gold
Thor Dwarf: 92% for food/wood; 125% for gold
--------------------------------------------------
So yes, you can use regular Norse villagers for gold;
they only gather gold slightly slower than Greek villagers;
and even faster than unempowered Egyptian villagers.
Its mostly dwarves that shouldnt be used for food/wood;
except when you are playing with Thor.
(they gather food/wood (as good as) as fast as gatherers, in practice)
Also, Dwarves are definitely the best for gathering gold;
but keep in mind, that they also cost gold to produce,
so if you are low on gold, and you really need more gold income,
(like for example when your dwarves just got raided, and/or in early game)
it can sometimes be better to simply use villagers for gold instead.
(and replace them with dwarves later on, while sending villagers to food/wood)
