The new campaign was by the way but it is not there
Yes but the pathfinding was horrific which really hurt gameplay and MU's in particular. Also the chinese dlc introduced some atrocious design choices that needed reverting.
If the game does well I am sure we may see a continuation of the campaigns and who knows maybe even a sequel.
There is too little new in this remake.
- Reusable god powers (first use free, repeated use costs Favor, cost increases with each use, Attys seem to have their first two GPs for free)
- Favor is now uncapped
- All newly added units from Extended Edition removed (i.e. no Greek healer anymore)
- Special attacks from Myth units can be triggered manually so they don't potentially waste it at a less valuable target
- Atlanteans now generate favor by scouting with Oracles
- Norse now build Ox Carts with Collectors/Dwarfs
- Changes to some Myth units (e.g. Hydra now regenerating health when upgraded or Scylla being a common Greek unit)
- Greek heroes now train at the same time as villagers and have an additional ranged attack vs flying units
Upcoming content:
- Reworked Chinese
- Unknown Pantheon
Way worth the price. Play this and most people will not be able to go back to EE.
