And what is a pre-release review? Pre-orderers? Yeah, you can trust those ppl cuz they definitely have discerning tastes, right?

TBH played a decent amt of this back in the day. Wasn't super impressed at first, but came back a few times to eventually get rather into it, and get my money's worth out of it. (Back when there were only $30-40 games, not $5-10 games, I might add...)

Having a hard time thinking of anything worth replaying about it, though, esp. if the only "retold" improvements are QoL, textures, "widescreen", etc.

Basically the game came out when a (not super low-poly looking) 3d RTS was in itself a biggish deal, and since we're galaxies beyond that, now... Just not sure why this product even exists. (Esp. after the re-release???)

I hear they "changed the voices". Not sure what that means. If it's just a political-correctness-washing like the last AoE 3, though, that's fairly suspect, and not really worthy of purchase in and of itself unless you're like ... a family member of someone who works for the studio.

I don't like what other people think so it must be fake... My own review is pretty short, I am still loving this game, now perhaps its because of nostalgia, don't know, all I know its that I am loving it.

I actually cannot believe people like you really exist. And dont take this as an insult, i literally cannot believe IF you are from my generation (born in 90). Me and ALL my friends are crying for the classic RTS genre like Mythology (starcraft, dune 2000, cnc) to come back in its purest form.

Yeah, we are galaxies beyond that genre... but WHY? Thats the whole damn problem, that creative genres like this are died out.... What we dont need are tons of copy paste fps multi shooters, looters, royals and survival cr*ps.

This product IS the one we all need.

Very easy, read my review and see my video before posting such nonsense. There is nothing generic in it.
