Steam deck

So how well does this worm on steam deck? I'm working on a pc but it won't be done for a but still but I really want to play this in the meantime. I saw it was "playable" on the store page but not sure how well it actually works

I didn't have any trouble running it at a playable framerate but a few people have said that the game doesn't work at all for them.

did it control well or was it very annoying to try and actually play? I ask since most it's games don't like controllers unless designed for it

Unfortunately I still use mouse and keyboard for my deck so I can't answer that question for you, but there are in-game settings to change controller binds.

I am using a steam deck and it runs absolutely perfect on max graphics. At first had issues, but the fix for steam deck is (if you are on stable steam os version 3.5) to opt in for the beta 3.6.9 steam os version. Once your os is set, configure AOM Retold to use proton 9.0-5. It will be a flawless experience.

Also the gamepad controls take a few minutes to get used to but are very easy and intuitive.
