Devs dont forget an option to turn off the absolute nerved unit-speech !
The game is so great but the gameplay-experience will be destroyed when you always hear such nerved unit sounds after each click on the units.

A german youtuber is nerved from such sounds too. Cant understand why so many player have no problem with such nerved sounds.

In some days is the full-release for the standard-version. Hope we become an option to turn the sounds off than.

Sure it is the second post but i hope the devs will not forget it now !!!!! Each unit-selection with a nerved soundfile.....and you select a lot units in the game......is so inerved.

Remember in A L L other rts (new or old) you have such option to turn it off.

And when you set the speech slider in the options menu it have no effect ( bug?) or it works only for some speech in the campaign, dont know.

Wait, you talking ♥♥♥♥ about "Prostagma!"?
Monokuma Sep 1, 2024 @ 2:28pm
I feel like I'm missing something here, nerved?
Dalv Sep 1, 2024 @ 2:46pm
I agree, there should be a unit-speech intensity slider. Or at least one option to have them not respond every time you select them or issue them to move. Hearing "prostagma" 3 times within seconds can become too much.

What kind of weird Denglisch is this (I assume "nerved" comes from "nerven" aka "to annoy")?

Yes i know my english is horrible. But i am very sure you understand what i mean. So try other rts games and you will see they have an option/slider to turn off unit-speech !

And yes it is nerved a lot you click on a unit and hear sh.. soundfiles. So i thing it is not a bad idea to become such option you will find in every other rts-game. And this forum is for the game and not to discuss about my horrible english.

Please use a translator, your english is terrible. And I mean this as a non native speaker, you're just too hard to read, no excuse for it in 2024 on a forum.

From what I gather OP is referring to the sounds units make when you click on them which he and a German YouTuber find irritating.

Is this some kind of new problem? I’ve never heard of this in the 25+ years I’ve on/off played this genre.

More like when you issue them a move command. You know how most of us click several times for a unit to move within the same second. It can become annoying hearing things like "yes sir" repeatedly every time. All RTS have this problem except Homeworld (which has the best designed unit speech with situation awareness and dialogue). Maybe some RTS less then others because some not always having human units that respond with a speech.
The solution is to have an option making them not speak everytime if it's a repeated order.

You keep using that word. I don't think it's as real as you think it is.

A man who dislikes hearing „Prostagma!“ and „Wulume!“.
I am speechless.
You Sir are pure evil and I despise you with every fiber of my body. And I will block you.

I am all for more customization, but "enerved"? Dude, I dont speak English either, but that sentence is just begging to be misunderstood or not understood at all, you should definitely at least stop using the expression after seeing people commenting on it and being all confused,

You can use chatgpt, explain what you are trying to say in your native language and have it express it for you in English. Or google translate it. No need for writing poor English anymore these days. In the process the AI will teach you English. Hope that helps.
