remove RESOURCE BAR ?

can you remove the awful resource bar above trees/food/gold mines

There's a mod in the mod section which puts the resource display at the bottom left corner.

thank-you that would make it more comfartable to play but cant access workshop to select mods for some reason anyway.

I'm not sure what you mean, but you don't need a mod to move the resources from the top of the screen. Go to options, under the UI section there's an alternative resources selection that moves your resources next to the minimap.

He means that each tree in the game, for example, has a bar showing how much wood is left in it. There should be an optjon in settings to remove those, like there is in AoE2.

There was big backlash over resources position (on top of the screen).
DEVS listen and put alternative and also there are mods to put resources on bottom left or right.
But in the end I noticed (on "live" streams, not replays) that all top players use primary option for res position, on top of the screen. So this option is not that bad at all :) :)
I also hate this option on the beinning, but now I noticed that I managed resources much better with resources on top :) :) ...good job devs ;)
