One of the biggest issues with RTS game is just having players in games not knowing anything about how to play the game,
If you can't beat Titan AI(highest level AI without cheating) Then you probably shouldnt be playing in a match making pool
Sure you can still go play lobbies given lobbies is a controlled environment but generally one of the biggest issues is I queue up for 1v1/2v2 and 3v3
Its not fun when I verse someone who has never played an RTS before
Or its not fun having useless teammates on either side.

The level of entitlement that this thread topic possesses is just baffling to be honest. I don't understand how people can go onto a forum for a game that they paid for and did not have any hand in making, and try to dictate how others play and enjoy the game that they bought as well

Crazy coming from the guy who gatekept both ranked from AQ players
And are gatekeeping online the same way I am just to a lower bar.

This issue is already solved by Elo rating. The players who can't beat AI will fall down to lower Elo and eventually just play fair matches among themselves.

Game is not even a week old since release and the rest who didn't pay for early access haven't started playing yet

If there are placement matches, this should not be a problem as they will be placed at an ELO relative to their skill after completing placement

Playing SP is a different game to MP and may be in for a shock

Welcome to RTS team games, where things can go wrong, out of your control, every time

As long as the ELO difference is not too much and all players have completed placement matches this also should not be a problem. You can go see coh3stats for Company of Heroes 3 for a good example of how exacerbated the ELO matching is due to a lack of players

That already happens in ranked.
So Now I have to stomp in Quick match till I can queue in ranked without the chance of getting non-AQ matches
alt-f4ing whenever i get a match without AQ is boring

Most the ranked matches I won so far have all been non-AQ
Its just simply not fun though, I would rather wait for one fun AQ match that takes 3X the amount of wait time, Then play 3 non-AQ matches, because they are just not fun.

Yeah I wonder why the AQ people you play with seem better. Could it be that they have much more time to focus on the rest of the game instead of micromanaging build queues?
