Where profiles and savegames are stored?

I tried search game files and OS disk, also game folder, but didn`t find where profiles and saves are created, only some of saved options. Currently don`t have time to play the game much, maybe someone who finished several campaign missions knows the answer? Steam cloud is very nice thing, but manual saves help to keep progress forvever just in case, especially in good old long games like this one :)

go to the c: folder .....user.......your name . Than you see a "Games" folder it includes all your settings,saves AND mods. You must open the Age of Mythology folder and there you see all different folders it includes the saves,mods settings.

The easiest way is to make a copy from the "Games" folder.

A tip : I make a link of the different folders so i can copy only the savegames or mods to a safe place without to copy my gamesettings and overwtite them accidentally.

Actually, when loading saves there was "open folder" button like in Warcraft 3/StarCraft 2, I noticed it only when loading save game was actually needed. Indeed, AOM Retold have separate Games folder just like Doggy dicovered. Myth never get old, unlike me in some degree :)
