CLASSIC HOTKEYS?

Does anyone know if there is a way to import the classic Age 2 hotkeys? I was very frustrated that a modern game doesn't have this option

Age of Empire 4 player here, i also think that the hotkey system is sadly one of the weaker point of the game, its use of alt+X-key is just so hard to press, having the default attack button on Space of all keys, instead of A like in every other RTS also drove me crazy, but even when you change the individual keys more to your liking, you sadly cant really just copy the hotkey system from AoE 2/4, which are implemented better imo.

I completely agree, but I hope they release some kind of update to improve this

I really want the classic hotkeys also. I read that the classic hotkeys were also not included with aoe2 de on launch but got added in later, so i'm just going to refund and maybe buy again when they decide to do the same with aom. It's so dumb they are not included in either game from launch, I just want to play the campaign and learn whatever minor variations are different in aom from aoe 2 so i can get into multiplayer but I'm not gonna learn the qwerty layout and develop muscle memory for it if they are just going to add in classic hotkeys in the next update. You would think there would be a mod already adding them in but there isn't.
