Hey guys, I know this is probably a silly question but will there be a sale anytime soon? AoM was a huge part of my childhood, and I'm going through some rough stuff now and need that shot of nostalgia, but $49.99/$29.99 is a bit steep for me right now.

Soon? I would say that there is a low probability of -10% during autumn steam sale (27th November). Maybe -15/20% during winter sale (19th December)

I heard rumors of a 10% sale on the day of release, I really hope that's the case!!

No - there won't be a sale for this game this year. But probably next year.

If you own the previous version of the game you get a 10% discount on the premium edition, but that's it. It's a completely new release so yeah - going to have to wait if you want to pick it up on sale.

You could also check gaming sites like fanatic etc. if they have discount for it. Those kind of sites usually buy steam keys in bulk at reduced price and can then sell them for cheaper. Just double check that the site you decide to use is legit.

lol The game hasn't been officially launched and people are already asking about sales. I think the earliest you can expect is Christmas sales.

The game hasn't even been released. The only people that know about sales are the publishers and being the game hasn't even been released there is probably a 0% chance they have thought about what the sale price will be or when it will go on sale. It likely won't be anytime soon. There is still several months until the winter sale and I'd assume that would have a decent discount but nothing is guaranteed.
