Aggressive anticheat

I am never going to play multiplayer but not being able to even start the game because i have a trainer program open is kind of weird.
It isnt even connecting with the game it is just open because of other singleplayer games i play with cheats.

i was tempted to buy but am concerned about this.
Normally the side bar on the store page says they have an anti cheat, but there is nothing there (wouldn't be the first time a company adds the info after release sales).
What anti cheat is it?
I guess your trainer program is specifically for AoM?

if you dont play pvp why do you need a cheat program?

the game has cheatcodes built in if you need to cheat for your singleplayer experience. You can turn off the trainer program and stick to singleplayer.

Learn editor and triggers. Then you can build your own cheats and make them more creative!

Want a son of osiris attacking 10 times a second with 20 bolts with a max of 100 bounces that causes every unit hit to be thrown? Well with triggers you can!

Nope there isn't a trainer for AoM at the moment it is just picking up the trainer managers i had open, which are cheathappens aurora and Wemod.

For a power fantasy. Why shouldn't someone cheat in their single player game if they want? It doesn't hurt you or anyone else.

To OP, most of the classic cheats still work and there are even some new ones. A google search will find them if you don't remember what they are or never knew them in the first place.

i have the same problem with wemod :(
dont have it open but still cant open the game.

You can use cheats for single player so what's the issue here? Only a good thing that they have a good anti-cheat feature for multiplayer mode.

Wayy too aggressive, I didn't even have wemod open, it was just the overlay with windows game bar that runs in the background processes.

AOE DEs also did it but not this aggressive, what others do to their sp experience shouldn't be a concern.

What's the point of using trainers when there's already a myriad of cheat codes built into the game?
