cant play on steam deck

trying to play on steam deck and i get a black screen on the starting menu but the music is playing in the back round. anyone else have this issue?

No problems here. I just played for around one hour on the Steam Deck Oled.

Same issue, I've tried everything from forcing proton experimental, verifying integrity, restarting deck, trying desktop mode, lowering resolution, skipintro developer command, turning off bluetooth. I read the pinned post from dev about steam deck issues and none are helpfull. Maybe we have to wait for them to fix something on their end. Idk why the other guy who commented works on his.

I had the issue of the game crashing during the intro music. GE proton and proton 902 didn't work for me. After changing to proton 8, it gave a warning message, but was able to go further and play the game

how ? i get a message "need windows 10 or better"

I've been playing playing on an ultrawide and medium, sitting at about 45fps with proton 8.0.5

Everyone try forcing different proton builds. Got mine to work again on 8 for now.

Had the same black screen/OS crash issue and then switched to experimental and it loaded fine. Didn't get much playtime in yet but will report back if I have further issues.

LOL it worked last night. crashing when trying the same setup this morning, tried verifying integrity. definitely a serious issue here

Switched to 8.0.5 and it loads up fine for me now on deck

Try proton 8 not experimental.
