Problem with graphic drivers

At first the game worked without any problems. Today I reset the game settings to default. (I hadn't remembered that I had already been warned that the graphics settings were too high). Then the game closed and I have not been able to start it since. The error message reads: “A D3D12 Error has occurred and the game is forced to terminate. Verify your graphics drivers are up to date. HRESULT: 0x887a0005” . But it is up to date... Reinstallation did not work... Do you have any ideas? Is this related at all?

You can try renaming/deleting the "C:\Users\<username>\Games\Age of Mythology Retold" directory or just the "temp" subdirectory which has some cache files in it.

I tried this and additionally deleted the folder ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Age of Mythology Retoled after deinstallation (and also removed it from the trash). After reboot and reinstallation it's working! Thank you for your help!
