priests are the only ones who got some sort of a meaningful buff.
I've got the opposite experience. Yes hero units counter myth units, but a few archers with manticores/chimeras feels insanely strong even vs myth units.
"jUsT buiLd MoRe hErOs"
Nah I didnt think of that bud.
go play the older AOMs where myth units are as strong as they should be compared to now.
They can turn the tide for what they're built for, and to kill them you have to send in your own myth units or heroes.
I've had trouble vs them when I lack heroes (obviously) or beefy myth units.
Out of all the myth units, I think Hydra is the most busted one, but I LIKE that. Maybe up his cost and make the head count a bit harder to obtain so he has a sunk cost Fallacy. People will LOVE getting it but the enemy has time to counter before they reach stupid damage levels.
Just train cheap, non-Favour costing Heroes, or make your own Myth Units to counter the enemy's.
