A Long Way From Home WTF
I know that the AI cheats but ♥♥♥♥ you for this. It ♥♥♥♥♥ units, priest are the best ranged apparently (?) and if I manage to get an inch in I get swarmed with a trickle of basic infantry that doesn't let me heal until the next "♥♥♥♥ you" wave.

It was awesome, I made it without losing any norsemen. It's difficulty felt like that of the last campaign of the golden gift in the original. I loved the difficulty but you could try and go a bit lower in difficulty.

but if you need some tips:
- destroy the 2 lost tomb temples from your side of the river.
- build the second towncenter.
- make walls
- when you get far enough try to spam elephants and have few mummies.
- don't even try to attack for the first half of the game(except for the earlier mentioned tombs).
- don't build your future farms around your towncenter but somewhere else so production doesn't stop.
- hunt for food at first, kill all animals you come acrosson your side of the river(except crocidiles leave those it's to close to where the enemy comes, you can kill the girafs tho).

hopefully this helps beating titan difficulty, it took me 4 times aswell at first but I truely love the new difficulty.

This is from my experience playing on Titan difficulty. Easiest way to do this scenario is the following:

Send Chiron to get the relics on the west near the temple, this temple can be ignored for the entire game essentially. Send a villager west and wall the path across the river and build a second town centre asap. Wall the remaining two passages west of your base. Any future attack will now come from the east and north. Feel free to wall the east but only partially wall the north, it is important to leave a gap to make it a funnel. Train a few priests and use your starting forces to destroy the first temple to the east of you base. 3 priests and a house at the south part of your base will tank any mummies from the southern temple.

As soon as you're able to train caravans, build markets (Yes, several, to quickly get the caravans going) at the second TC and set up a trade route with your main base. Train a lot of camels (counters basically everything Kemsyt sends except myth units) and priests. Mix in some elephants if you feel the need but personally they are too slow, some chariot archers can be nice as well but are optional. Deal with the southern temple in between waves. Go up to Osiris (spam mummies) or Horus (Avenger spam) and push with some catapults (focus on sniping production).

This was my method i found. Did this on hard first then titan. At start spam farms, put some on wood like 4, while doing that get priest around 11ish, then 4ish houses and a smithy really quickly use the priest to fastern the timer.

When the pharaoh spawns you should be ready with your priests/early units. Get the temple which is close, bait the undead which summons, (priest will kill them quick) try to keep your early units alive, after the temple takes heavy hits it will summon two mummies take them out. Once destroyed it will spawn two scarabs quickly move if you do it right they won’t aggro. You can also use Chiron to start attacking the second temple at southern (next to gold) while working on the first one to be more efficient. Once done get the other temple asap two mummies will be there use Chiron as bait rinse repeat. Priest will make easy work of the mummies which spawns and attacks they aren’t really the threat.

By then you should have loads of food, some wood, sell some if needed to advance to the next age (sobek for camel improvement), sell to help for gold/other improvements but make sure you have enough for the army you need, I found camel riders to be the unit you will need, quickly build Migdol and just spam them (use auto), no other unit/myth but camels and priests/sons only. Get their upgrade right away from Smith (try to get at start before advancing) and same for camel upgrade, get asap.

While getting them the gold pile below will be safe and free to use (make sure scarabs are dead there), wall for just in case but I’ve never got attacked there. You should also be walling the very left and right sides, quickly as you can, keep only one open it will make them attack from only that side.

Later in the game it will be a back and forth, defend and slowly push, sell/push economy, can also get the market upgrade never got caravans I just spammed vills on food, gold, wood. There is gold next to west town centre and gold on the right side behind town centre.

They will have scarabs and siege but the camels and priest will make an easy work if upgraded. Try to be ready to advance to the last age quickly get Osiris for sons, you can try and get the last temple up west, to boost and can also try and attack the left and right side enemy temple/houses and barracks, notice they dont rebuild basic things like temples, barracks and houses best use that to advantage. It will slow their army. Save favour and spam for Sons. ASAP. Got around two-three sons. Try not to use other god powers so make sure you have built monuments.

I have tried different methods like moving all the way up west that didn't work or spamming slingers/chariots also tried blocking all ways, kinda worked but not all the time, best tip is to just get a good economy so you can just spam yourself, I only really pushed the tree until I felt like they couldn’t fight back and pretty much cleared the left and right, don’t have to completely destroy everything but slowly weaken them. It took me some attempt at start to get the hang of it on hard, but once you find the right technique it’s not as hard. Only took me like one or two attempt on titan. Saved on checkpoints so loaded back so didn’t start from scratch, I might have pushed the enemy but left the base open so more my fault. haha

Tried to word it best I could. Good luck!
