This means, there are 150k players trying to play this game, but only 10% is currently playing according to steamdb. I highly doubt it....no need to exaggerate. Major problems usually happen for a few unlucky people.

Why did we need this remaster. I thought that was what the extended edition was? I love that version. What was wrong with the extended version and why this? The extended version plays perfectly on new machines and you don't even need to mod it for stability issues or anything like that. Can someone explain?

you need to download the newest microsoft visual c++ and repair your files. I was pulling my hair out trying to get the game to work but this solution is what did it.

Just you. Try microsoft visual c++, that has a huge tendency to be the problem, no idea why Windows don't just install all versions of it by default. Microsoft can be kinda dumb.

I'm having a different problem where i can play about half a match and then everything stops moving. units, passive resources, and tech que but its not frozen i can still click everything they just no longer respond.
