I am playing it right now with my nephew on Extreme Difficulty and its painfully easy. all the Blessings you get give the AI no chance even with +25% buff

There's a difficulty jump once you start consistently facing multiple AI and are contending with Freyr/Loki's Harsh winter Twist over the Gaia reinforcements.

it's unbeatable you go solo against 3 ais with infinite resources once you finish the tutorial

It's far from impossible, but again Extreme is supposed to give a bit of a challenge. More casual players should perhaps just lower the difficulty - nothing shameful about it

There is no achievement for maximum difficulty tho, only Hard

on hard 1 vs 3 you get swarmed before you get the second pesant. at the very least you must to complete all these stupid boring skirmishes on one below hard where AI literally don't even play to collect and upgrade the magicks, and then go hard where AI just has infinite resources and is cheating.

there's no option to play fair because they suck at making ai since forever. all of them all 6 devs who made this by commettee. you can see the issue in all their previous projects
