Also what's an "auto-quo"? Automatically receiving something, I assume? I haven't played Egg of Myathorology or whatever it is you're talking about, so no clue.
After all, in Retold, if you group different military buildings together, you will see every possible unit and you don't even need to tab between the building types.
So you can focus on another things like overalsituation istead of to press more more units manually
Play an RTT and be happy, and so the AOM remain an RTS and everyone is happy.
There's autoque for military units, or was in the beta, it's a setting that must be turned on. Or are you talking about it being disabled in ranked?
Only in custom games. Military autoqueue was disabled in ranked. Villager autoqueue only was enabled in ranked.
The focus should be fun, not mechanical excellence.
Thank you for your service being on the correct side of this war. o7
Wow. Okay hardo, I was a master in SCII and sure, it didn't have autoqueue, but AoT did. It's not the "wrong genre" like what's the point of adding it and then removing it? It's its own game and autoqueue is pretty fundamental. There's plenty more than combat too, balancing economy, upgrades, harassment and front line, etc. You're really just asking for more APMs for no reason. Wow.
Wow. The voices of reason. I applaud you. Wow.
2nd - AOM is currently abandoned precisely because of the difficulty of the game, few people are willing to become a punching bag and play without fun for months in multiplayer until they can finally start having fun, so the game should be more accessible to newcomers to become SUSTAINABLE IN THE LONG TERM, in fact this is the proposal of the developers, and removing the default autoqueue for military units goes against this.
3rd - To those who defend how wonderful it is to play without the military autoqueue, I see no problem in leaving it on by default and these professional players having the option to turn it off, since their argument is that it gets in the way, that it produces incorrect and massive armies, among others. It's that simple. Whoever thinks it's better without it can just disable it and receive the benefits they defend.
No one here is discussing whether to remove or add the autoque, just keeping it enabled by default, as it is already in the game.
Therefore, it is clear that with the military autoque enabled by default, and being able to be disabled by anyone who wants to, it is obviously the best option considering fun, player consistency and accessibility of the game for everyone.
Thor says "if you want autoqueue you are playing the wrong game". This is literally one of THE defining things about age of mythology. You can't argue with this kind of stupid.
