I choose standard, nothing else. I mean it could've been just a bugged AI which used to happen in original aswell, but watching some videos on youtube also showed similar not difficult behaviour.
I played against one aggressive AI on Titan with my friend and we got defeated in late game by it going to wonder age first and spamming god powers so I feel like the AI works as intended but it depends which type of AI you pick and the difficulty.
However, I didn't witness the behavior you're describing even on hard AI.
Hard is basically normal AI that plays as good as a bad player without cheats. from there the ai cheats with more income. but titan is still pretty easy when youre good
For the rest, they just create bus and send them to death one by one. No progress since Warcraft II.
