Premium upgrade not including base game?

Im a bit confused. According to the game info the premium upgrade includes the base game and all other parts. But when I add it to my cart it says "Purchasing this item requires you own the following items: Age of Mythology Retold" Im not able to go to the next step to pay either. So whats included in those 24.99euro price?

Premium Upgrade is if you already purchased the Standard Version.

So to get the "full experience" i have to pay 30 + 25 euro? They are truly tripping on the price for a remake. Thanks for the explanation. Will not be buying this for a long time it seems.

Either Standard + Premium Upgrade or just the Premium Version which is cheaper (+ you get a small discount if you own Extended Edition)

The premium upgrade in comparison, has a pretty standard price when compared to expansion passes for other games. After all, the expansions aren't a remake of anything previously available.

My thought as well. The Premium Upgrade is imo only worth it if you already have Standard

The upgrade is only for users who bought the base game but then wish to upgrade to the premium experience. You can't buy the upgrade without owning the standard edition - that's like buying a sandwich filling without the bread.

What discount do you get if you own Extended edition? I have it but I don't see any discount :/

You would get the 15% discount if you have the first game.

If you own Age of Mythology: Extended Edition, you will receive a discount when purchasing Age of Mythology: Retold Premium Edition.

This discount will be shown automatically to accounts that already own a Age of Mythology: Extended Edition. If you are not seeing the discount, please ensure:

- You are correctly logged into Steam.
- You are not logged into a different Steam account than the one that owns Age of Mythology: Extended Edition.

You see the discount. But you don't see the reason... The actual price for the full premium edition is 42,xx €. And that's the discounted price. I had that price, and I own AoM: EE.

There is no reason, why you have a discount, though. But it seems, the EE is the reason, not the pre-purchase, although the offer ends, when the game is released. Maybe the price-discount will still be there, then, but you will definitly loose the 7-day pre-access... (ovviously) Maybe this is the reason, why "the offer ends at september, the 4th"... But we can only see, then.
