The Atlanteans have always been part of Age of Mythology.
The game is about MYTHOLOGY, not real world civilizations. There is no bigger mythological civilization than Atlantis.
Edit: Didn't mean to offend anybody, just my interpretation of the Attie campaign and looking back at the noughties :-D
The Atlanteans are in the game, because they were always in the game, since teh 1st campaign mission.
Atlantis is also THE mythological civilization that all other mythological and lost civilizations of fantasy are based on.
AoM is not a game about Bronze Age History and ancient civilizations. It is a game about MYTHOLOGY, first and foremost.
There is no bigger myth than Atlantis, a whole mythological civilization.
The Atlanteans have always been part of Age of Mythology. (2)
How somebody even make doubts about that? This is so disrespectful to the series.
And also I hope that Chinese civ will never have such legacy and eventually will vanish.
