What's the difference between the standard and "upgrade" ??? I do own the original, extended.

If you purchase the Age of Mythology Retold standard edition, you only get the game, while if you purchase the Premium edition, you also get bonus content like a new Norse God, Legacy portraits, 7 days of early access to the game, and two expansion packs that are planned to come post-launch with two new Pantheons.

You might be looking at the premium upgrade, which does not include the base game. If you're looking at the premium + base game, you'll come at around 50 dollars (and -15% off that if you have AoM Extended Edition). The base game is 30 dollars.
