Expansion 1? Expansion 2?

Does anyone know what these two contents "expansion 1/2" correspond to in the premium pack? I didn't understand

I see in the comments that it is confusing and that many have not understood either. since nothing is sure it seems more prudent to only take the basic version of the game for the moment

The base game costs 30$. If you get the upgrade version you are only paying 12$ for 2 new pantheons. 6$ per pantheon - it's very unlikely the price will be this low if you skip the upgrade

lets be honest, the most prudent thing to do is to wait till the game is released and than watch video's and reviews and decide once you know what is on offer.

whenever you preorder it is a gamble, you never know exactly what you will get and of what quality that will be.

that being said, im still going to pre order this, because it is a gamble i am willing to take.

We know expansion 1 will be the Chinese rework. We know expansion 2 is coming after and will have a new pantheon. We don't know what it will be, but the devs know already. If they're working on Aztec and read here that people want Celts, or vice versa, it won't make them change their already done work ito the other civ. But it might give them an Idea what to create after, if what they're working on sells well enough. So, if the game is as good as we hope, everyone will get the civs he wants eventually. And perhaps a civ or two he doesn't want along the way...

Who knows if Retold is successful and the two expansion packs make the game more popular I think it's safe to assume more pantheons will come later down the road.

I've waited 20 years for someone to touch this game. I'm paying a few bucks to support it, as other have said before, it seems that they did a lot of work outside of just a graphic update so the pricing seems fair considering they need to get the revenew out of a very niche segment

Keep in mind if AoM Retold is what we hope it is and people play and support it, then AoM 2 is not far from reality.

After what they did with AoE4, I do not care for an AoM2. I just want AoMR, but with more content.

I take it you don't like AoE4, in my opinion is the best AoE game in the franchise with a lot of potential to become even greater than it already is.

These will be released as DLC, so you do not need to buy premium edition, just respective DLC

To be fair, they are remastering (rework, update) the game, and nobody has "a duty" to buy it, it is just Your choice. You can ignore it , if You want
