No, they are actually much less cartoony than the original. What people are complaining about, is the god art, which has been "marvelized", and it looks massively off in many cases.

as an american i can tell you right now that ever looking up to us was ur first mistake

The current artwork has nothing do to with the abominations from beta lol, actually I prefer much of Retold minor gods. Egyptian as well as Atlantean ones are particularly inspiring.

For the major gods there are still inconsistenties, in the drawing style notably.

Lol if your last sentence has any kind of reality it likely goes beyond economic issues, besides being poor isn't a choice - most of the time - especially when we talk about entire countries. :)

my point was that only in that level of suffering should you envy my kind, america is cruel and horrible and it's about to get far far worst, my country is known only for it's racism and oppression, any "freedom" is exclusive to the rich
