Rise of Nations remaster is overdue, but...
Still my favorite RTS of all time. Loved the Conquer the World map campaign. But... i believe someone bought the rights of Big Huge Games and they turned it into a monetized mobile game like Clash of Clans.

Thats too bad if that is the case. Rise of Nations really only needs a good proper face lift to make it stand out again. Its definitely my favourite RTS game of all time, it would be epic if it got the kind of love Age of Empires got.

The original developer and owner of Big Huge Games was MLB pitcher Curt Schilling. They closed their doors in 2012. This company took over the name and eventually transmuted Rise of Nations into a monetized mobile game called Dominations.

bs. Rise of Nations was not turned to Dominations. Dominations is just another game made by same company

also Microsoft released Rise of Nations: Extended Edition(similar to AoE2:HD and AoM:EE) in 2014, which has less than half of reviews vs AoM:EE (not as popular)

Sorry, i didn't mean to imply it was the exact same game. I've played Dominations and it's very similar to Rise of Nations and it uses many of the same game elements. Also, i never said that it could never be remastered and released again. I was just commenting that Big Huge Games is involved and could have a part in remastering or releasing the game again.

+1000 I'd love for this to happen. Or at the very least fix some of the game breaking bugs in the EE version.
Rise of Legends.
