As much as I want that, likely never.
At this point I would just be happy if they sold it on Steam.

I love this game so much. So pity players completely ignored it when it has been released

I'm 30 and am rts fan... Or so I thought. Never heard of that game until reading this post. Probably because I also slept on Rise of Nations itself.

I looked it up and it had absolutely solid reception and ratings too. I guess another game at the wrong time.

The only other fantasy game I can think of like that & AOM is Stronghold Legends... Which I class as an absolutely terrible game lol

I'm definitely going to be downloading this game now, thanks for giving me something exciting to explore!

Yeah there is no other game where you can progress through whole human history and also i like campaign where you can chose which territory to invade first and then you play like RTS which i find interesting. Tho controls of that game were abysmal, gameplay not too good!

IMO, risw of nations is one of the best or the best AOE type game.. the conquer the world campaign was amazing, paying it solo in harder, the game as aged well and still very playable, remaster it doesn't make much sense unless they allow multiplayer for conquer the world campaign, that would be a insta buy

Fortunately, Rise of Nations: Extended Edition is already on Steam, which gives me some hope. +1 form me, as I'm also a huge fan of Rise of Legends (maybe I secretly like it more than the base RoN? :steamhappy:). The Vinci clockwork, Cuotl alien/advanced tech and Alin magical flair was simply beautiful and nothing I've seen before or since.

I wish that would happen, I still play it off the original CDs

Oh hell yes, the only way I can still play it now was jumping through a ton of odd hoops. Ride of legends with actual graphics? Yes please.

Sadly I bet those aspects that made the game unique and fun, would be trimmed off in the name of console/cellphone "so called gamer" idiots that would whine the game is too hard...

Man, i've been waiting for years for either a remaster or at least a Steam release. I have the physical copy, but i can't install that cause i don't have a CD-ROM on my PC anymore. Even if i could, i'm not even sure if we can even download the patch for it now.

It's a shame, it honestly looked good for its time. Dare i say it still looks good to this day. With unit and faction designs that are pretty much unique, especially during its release. Since at that time, most fantasy RTS are basically the typical Humans vs Orc vs Elves.

I mean, what's not to love about a faction with walking statues of their gods as their hero units, among others?
