I am sure the game will be rebalanced, but not having to pay for most buildings, and getting Pharaos acting as a local extra Eco upgrade; already puts Eggys on top of everyone else.
The tradeoff is that Eggys have terrible Barracks units, and are dependant on Migdol units, so they always have to Fast Heroic.
This gives you a window to damage them, but if you cannot, you will be outteched and overwhelmed, by actual good units and a better Economy.
And taht is without any GPs coming to account. Most Eggy GPs are only there to delay the game and allow them time to tech up anyway.
Never stopped ScubaSteve from doing a 5-6m spearmen rush with shifting sands and taking out greeks/norse players back in the day xD I for one am more interested in playing the Settlers 3v3 maps again from back when, that was well balanced. I always played at a high level and won alot with Thor.
It is also false that any civilizations "needs to be OP", for any reason, as this is a game, and games need to have quite a degree of fairness to be played between several people.
This game will have SIGNIFICANT differences to base AoM. Pop cap will be larger, and GPs will be reausable.
Maybe some can't be recharged though, plentyvault recharging might be a bit much unless it causes the previous one to disappear.
As for Isis, the effect could still be tweaked some. Like maybe the first two wonders don't do that, only the last three.
Maybe even some of the other Mythic GPs too, like Tartarian Gate, as they could easily become abusable if you could make more than one, or Ragnarok/Fimbulwinter, since they have a huge impact that is often stronger than Thot Meteors or Atlas Implode.
My guess is that the tartarian gate's cooldown could perhaps only start once the one on the map is destroyed. That would ensure there's never more than one, at least not from the same player.
