Why Unreal Engine 4?

Where are people still releasing games on Unreal Engine 4.27 when we are on version 5.5. Will be skipping this game for that reason alone

Howgarts Legacy uses UE 4, and is currently a graphical and performance marvel. So is DQ 11 or Borderlands 3. UE 5 is garbage because it offers really poor performance. The choice of UE 4 is currently the right choice. It's still a great engine for creating video games. In fact, right now it's better than UE 5 in terms of performance. There are many reasons to ignore this game, but its engine is not one of them.

At least it runs. Same can't be said for many games in 2025.
