We also support ultra-wide displays for a panoramic experience, some precisions on ultra-wide support:
Gameplay fully supported in ultra-wide.
Menu will stay framed in 16:9 (black bars on the side).
Cinematics will stay framed in 16:9 (black bars on the side).

Now, there's a good question.
Yeah, would be good to know. It’s Unreal Engine 5, and I know there have been other UE5 games with ultrawide support.
Any updates on this? Wanting to buy, but worried about this aspect.

add to Engine ini or create one then put the file as read only.

[/script/engine.localplayer]
AspectRatioAxisConstraint=AspectRatio_MaintainYFOV

add this as well...

[SystemSettings]
r.UseLegacyMaintainYFOVViewMatrix=True

It forces all horizontal FOV values to be vertical,

it can be done on Every Unreal Engine 5 game...

this is 120 vertical even though in-game menu says horizontal .

Great, but also bad decision to leave black bars in cinematics. Just give us the option to remove them.

Just to confirm the cutscenes of course have black bars. but it is running great on 32:9 at 5120x1440 during gameplay
Thinking of getting this game if the game has proper ultra-wide monitor support ? But need to know if there is any option or any "fix" to remove the black bars during cut scenes ? Can some one who have the game please confirm ?

in gameplay is ultrawide support, yes

cutscenes are not. They are in 16:9
Ingame cutscenes can be fixed by Lyall's mod
https://github.com/Lyall/UltrawidePatches/tree/main/Crime%20Boss%20Rockay%20City

I played the hole game in 32:9 and it works fine.
