Sale when?
I think this would do better at around 20 EU bucks. I'd buy it at that price for sure, while I remember that the game exists. Who knows months from now.

I know business is hard, but sometimes you simply need the right price point for a given product.

No idea what sales have been like, but it seems like this game was intended primarily for gamepass, so I am not sure how much they were relying on direct sales. I wouldn't count on a discount right away, but I also wouldn't be surprised if it was discounted during the Steam Summer Sale.
over half way in the game and i think its deserving the 35 pounds tag, if you want it at 20 pounds you will have to wait till winter or even next year. but 35 is fair, maybe they wll try to catch more people but if not fair to not put it on sale for another half of year
It'll probably be part of the Steam summer sale that starts on June 26.

But yeah, I agree with the previous poster that it's well worth the full price.

The price is fair IMO. I tried it on Gamepass and liked it so i decided to buy it on Steam to support the devs.
Its on PC Gamepass which is $10 a month
get it on gamepass then? it's available at a lower price point than you posted so I'm not sure what you're complaining about

I don't do game rentals. I tried Game Pass a while back and I felt no joy from renting games - it's a plebian, soulless experience.

I got a free trial through my internet plan and I feel gross for using it
I watched the videos on youtube. I don't think it worth 20 euro to be honest.

What does that even mean, primarily for gamepass? If a product can't draw in a significant paying audience on steam, especially at a 40 Euro price point, chances are it won't do much better on a subscription service either. At the end of the day you're always competing for the customer;s attention. So unless I'm shown numbers to the contrary there is no reason to assume that interest in this game on X-Box live is significantly different than it is on other platforms.

Wouldn't play if it was free. Thanks though.

First of all, games have target audiences and depending on budget, different measures of what makes them successful. Some games, such as the AC franchise, have WAY bigger audiences on console than they ever will on steam or PC generally. Second, some games Microsoft funds are intended as something to bulk up their gamepass portfolio. Not every game needs to appeal to mass mulitplatform audiences, especially if it has a AA budget.

Now, is this game meeting Microsoft's measure of success? No idea. No idea what they consider successful for this game. I mean, Hi-Fi rush was a massive success by most measures and they still got canned by Microsoft while studios with less successful games are still plugging along. Im not sure anyone knows what metric Microsoft is using.

All of this to say, that looking at concurrent players on steam to read tea leaves for a console targeted single player niche AA game is just silly.

Sounds like it's not your type of game kiddo, in which case, why are you here?
