Is the patch working?

In my case, it doesn't. I only get to see silhouettes with 'Keep Out' ribbons across them.

Even though the patch installer reports that the installation succeeded, I'm wondering if Proton disables that patch somehow (since I play on a Linux computer), even though it works fine with other Kagura games.

So I'd like to know if other people have this issue too, and if it happens on Windows as well.

I am a ways into the game and have seen nothing resembling H content - ribbons or no. How far do you have to progress before you would see an H scene?

Okay, I have reached the first H scene after she leaves the dungeon in Tortas. The patch is working fine on my Windows PC

Is that just after the meeting in the throne room of bohelos, or pretty much thereafter?

During that meeting, just after defeating the king, a servant walks in, then there's a bit of dailog with the remnants, and then I get to see the picture that I mentioned, after the world map with the chess pieces appeared twice. The silhouette appears to resemble Deathpolca.

No: it's after you fly to conquer the next nation after Bohelos - so quite a ways in. You will land in the next country and be taken to a dungeon (it happens regardless, so it's not really a spoiler). The first H scene is after you leave the dungeon.

And you don't recall the picture of the silhouette, after the first meeting with the remnants in bohelos throne room?

(I just arrived at my estate, with a demon waiting for me to go somewhere).

Perhaps it's just a single CG that they overlooked when the built the patch.

That's just part of the story. It's supposed to look like that, there's nothing censored. You'll see the character in the next area.

I did find that option indeed. It was on by default, but just to make sure, I set it on and off again, to have it stored in the savegame.

I think it's a great game nonetheless! In other RPG's, characters tend to talk too much, but this one is refreshingly dynamic, and a good soundtrack too!

The options are set to R18 Skip OFF by default: once you get close to the first H scene, a tutorial page will pop up telling you to change the setting if you want to skip the R18 content

Yeah, my bad, it was set to display H content. I didn't know about the tutorial that you mentioned. I am in Torgas dungeon as we speak btw.
