OP Items

Why do you get so many OP items in the beginning of the game?

I think it's a bonus that was added at some point in the game's development. Whether or not you use them is up to you, but if you get bored with the combat it's there.
The game gets tough at some point soit may help if you get stuck.

I'm wondering, if you have the patch installed. Appearantly you receive a ton of items in the unpatched game. Just something I heard.

The tons of items are only available on the unpatched steam version. That is, the version with no NSFW content that ends about 1/3 of the way through the full game.

These aren't available if you patch the game.
