This is pretty much on what you can expect for most R18 games on steam. You got to go to an external site to get a patch to get the full game.
I recommend going to GoG these days. For R18 games like this they not only host the uncensored patches right there on the GoG store page, but they tend to be even more uncensored than the patches on the developer websites (the website patches usually still have mosaics due to local Japanese laws, GoG patches usually don't have mosaics, including for Demons Roots).
Please help. I've gotten this far. Do I need to play the game from the beginning after installing the patch to get the choices to appear? 😭
