Simply go inside the dungeon as usual but notice you have option 'Write Random Number' - use this option and lose against the first enemy as usual.
Now you should have all the optional scenes done.
This also means we can now 'remove the bad end mode' safely.
Go into Holy Land Pacius Temple
Talk to the Sage outside the temple first.
After that find him inside the temple in NE corner.
Go inside the dungeon via secret path.
This dungeon will function approximately same as with Lily chasing you.. but with a monster instead of her this time.
I will give a step by step to minimize time waste:
1) Go into west door and go NW corner to get instruction key.
2) Get out and take the east stairs now.
3) The SE stairs are optional BUT lead you to a stat boost item in the golden urn.
4) In the main corridor you need NE door.
You will be in instruction room now.
SW door has a key you need.
SE door has another key you can get with the key above.
5) Back to main corridor and into NW door this time.
6) Admonishment area.
While your goal here is simply the room in the end to the north.
There is OPTIONAL thing you can do:
Go into the room south of the one you need.
It should have 2 'beds', it's hard to notice but the lower bed pillow has a key.
To use this key go back to where we get the very first key(eternity) and go to SW room there.
There are 2 golden urns with one having a stat boost item.
7) Make your way back to Admonishment area, touch the statue.
Go down the stairs.
You will enter floor 3F of bad end mode, but this time you can actually fight and your goal is 1F instead of 21F.
Everything dies to 1 hit here so shouldn't be a problem.
Once you reach 1F - you will see a 'giant beast' in SE corner. This is not actually boss, but somewhat miniboss tier.
You will then have another even easier fight as you exit the dungeon.
You can technically talk with and kill all prison wardens but this does nothing.
In the room with the Emperor statue the Boss fight will automatically start.
You might recognize it if you got to 21F of bad end before.
It's not particularly strong if you use Ange to tank.
The sword you get from this boss is +15% crit/evasion and +1 basic attack.
A pretty good weapon for boss fights with Lily.
With onion cloak that's already 3 basic attacks. You can add pleasure to improve her atk further and give her 2 more basic attacks.
Along with increased crit chance - this yields approx same damage as kalinka if used as purely basic atk'er.
Unless kalinka hits light/dark weakness.
Either way - we are done with all EX dungeons in the game now.
Teleport to Mark 6 Loading Dock
We are going to be facing purely boss encounters now, very hard ones at that, so swap to your boss party.
I personally use Ange/Lily/Kalinka/Najezta with following gear:
Ange - white silver lace spear, kraken shield, ape crown, bikini armor, lapis lazuli, battle princess neck
She pretty much focuses evasion.
Kalinka - heaven claw, dragon buckler, apostle horn(mebius's helm), body suit, sage's glove, turbo arm
Lily - Crystal Abyss sword, Dragon buckler, Mushroom Head, Retro robe, Red Straw Rope(doremi), onion cape
Lily/kalinka pretty much glass cannon focus atk/crit values.
Najezta - yagrush sword(15% TP regen two handed), all might hat(can remove conditions form Anje in case of ♥♥♥♥), super sexy underwear, savior's ring, ring of fortune.
Najezta pretty much stacks TP regen and luck(his ultimate should be nearly 100% chance to slip any boss this way, essentially giving you a free turn)
Strategy:
Lily/kalinka upkeep pleasure/mega buster and basic attack.
Lily also does her ulti to upkeep debuff on enemy. I like to do it after Pleasure expires.
Najezta upkeeps his 'imperial tactics' and 'fish scale formation' and does healing if required and his ultimate if TP allows.
Fish scale in particular is MASSIVE crit chance increase.
Ange with this equip can easily upkeep wind god shield(and upkeep double def/mdef buff) and the 10% evasion for no TP cost.
This means 45% from equip and 30% from skills for a total of 75% evasion at all times.
I think there is either some innate evasion or Naj all stat boosts it a bit too, since from my experience dodge chance is more like ~85%.
You have no 'revival' on Najezta so if someone dies you have to use enhanced reviver.
Either way - from Mark 6 Loading dock head to SW teleporter.
Now go inside the western green door.
You will reach your first hard boss. Since we tackle it first it's also easiest.
The strategy ignores any possible weakness the enemy might have.
Your main source of damage will be critical hits which will deal like x3-4 damage compared to normal hit.
Boss has ~200k HP.
Basically unless you get unlucky you should be fine.
It however can do a triple turn of full party AoE, ~2-3 hits of which will likely kill Ange... so a bit RNG if it happens.
It usually happens some time after dialogue about 'sturdy armor'.
I personally slipped him and outbursted.
Reward is photon gun, approx on par with goddess whip but for Naj/Diana instead of lily/polca.
Next boss is inside Third Empire
You need to go back into waterway - go to NW corner to find an NPC being afraid of something.
Go south from him to find a boat.
Interacting with it leads to a boss fight.
This boss has 350k HP but easily gets poison and bleeding which cause MASSIVE damage to it.
Prioritize poison/bleed over anything else with Lily.
The reward is a high attack sword(but does nothing else so quite meh)
There are also 2 Tera books in the bookshelf.
The final optional boss is the Ultra Beast
This one has a dedicated area if you forgot.
You are free to explore.and your usual boss kill build should handle the small dragons pretty quickly there.
I simply did no TP tanking with Ange, basic attacks with Lily/Kalinka and Crit buff spam with Naj.. mostly just so I could hold Z.
The boss itself starts immediately when you transition into next area in the NW approx.
The ultra beast itself is...
Well... it's 800k HP first and foremost.
It's the strongest boss that is available on first playthrough.
BUT bleed/poison works and deals 80k per turn. So lily upkeeps that as priority and basic attack/debuffs him via ultimate as second priority.
Be aware that with each time you inflict condition the chance of triggering it again seems to lower. 2 poison triggers was my limit for example, after that 5 turns of trying it did nothing so I just swapped into bleed.
Due to this - you might want to equip fortune rings on lily rather than her usual stuff.
Also you want to change weapon on Lily to super sludge dagger.
The reason is that boss is super resistant to crystal and the Abyss sword will deal 0 damage essentially.
Sludge dagger has chance of poison at least while still having +1 attack for TP.
For Naj - high priority becomes casting his ultimate whenever possible just so you keep minimizing chance of getting wiped.
Whatever extra damage you can deal outside of poison is low priority.
This one is honestly RNG test. You can equip brother or mother accessory instead of Lapis Lazuli on Ange here to mitigate an RNG failure.
The levels don't really help much, it's all about hoping boss doesn't get too lucky with his hits. Average luck should get you through just fine. With buffed Ange/Debuffed boss she can take 2 hits before dying on 3rd. Mother/brother pendant allow you to survive 3rd hit too.
I personally managed this with levels 64(Naj)-73(Kalinka).
If you feel behind in levels - go grind some Apes - the level grind is quite fast there, you should be 1 turn killing the whole party before they can do anything in the random encounter setup.
Reward is Ultra Claws...
It's only +1 attack count and no element BUT has a bit more ATK value and low chance to slip/faint the enemy.
I would generally keep heaven's claw but it's useful in some situations.
Assuming you have been following the guide - you should have ALL achievements up to Secret Hot Spring sword completed.
As for scenes you should be missing 7 after 'Blossom' and 2 after 'relaxation'.
If everything matches - good job, the only thing left is to finish the main story for now.
Keep going until you are inside the castle and have seen the cutscene there.
Enemies in this dungeon are usually solo or duo - I recommend giving abyss sword to Lily instead of whip.
Kalinka and Lily should each kill one this way.
Once inside the castle you will see 2 stairs - both lead into kitchen which is dead end but has a cutscene.
Keep going forward until emperor statue which has chest nearby.
Doors to the north of the statue both lead to same dead end with stat boosts in it.
The stairs lead to different places so do the following:
1) Take west stairs.
Instantly head north until the end and east through the wall for a secret path leading to cursed sword.
Backtrack and grab chest nearby.
West room has a bit ammo but nothing else.
Go back to main hall.
2) Take east stairs this time and go east into the basement.
This is technically optional, only garbage loot here.
3) Go back to previous split and go north this time.
You end up in a split of 2 paths: north/south.
Go north first and grab dresses among which is princess dress - best offensive chest piece in the game with +15% crit.
4) Now go all the way south to end up in an area connecting the east/west.
There are 2 major chests here 1 of which has Flange - an accessory which is better than sword necklace for flat atk.
There are also less important chests to the sides of the area.
5) Continue through west door and head north to get into library.
6) Now exit libray and go out through the west path. Keep going until you reach big hall.
2 statues there have imperial capes near them.
Technically the boss is north through main door but we can still explore.
7) Head east into next area and go north here for a miniboss.
Kalinka Heaven Claw and Lily Abyss sword will both hit weakness so it will get brutalized very badly.
Chest has 'imperial key'.
To the south are some barrels you can break and some are hidden below wall too but all are random consumables.
8) Go back into main hall and open southern door there.
Grab armor/weapons on stands and press lever. Go down the stairs and use another lever.
This is a shortcut to place with kitchen.
9) Climb back up once and now go a bit north and open the east/west gates in the middle to reach SW part of the area with 'Grand Armor' on the stand that you can grab.
10) Now go back and climb all the way back up to where boss is supposed to be in main hall.
Quick swap into boss party since you are about to face one.
Unless you have been skipping most of the optional content - all the upcoming bosses shouldn't be a problem as they pale in comparison to what you already faced.
But even without it - most of the key gear was part of main story so shouldn't be big trouble too.
The first fight you simply beat.
Second fight ends up as scripted defeat after a few turns.
Doesn't matter that you already wiped the floor with one ultra beast, I guess.
Covering the mini story about Diana.
Technically your goal is Tortas and there is nothing to explore elsewhere BUT you can find your companions for some dialogue if you really want to, totally optional:
1) Mebius in bohelos castle
2) Ange in Shingana old fort.
3) Sasara in front of Rooklook entrance.
Once you decide to continue story go to Tortas City inn(closest building when you teleport)
Visit Plana city now.
Go to inn and through the cutscenes until you finally need to enter luxury hotel.
The window you need to enter through is on the 2nd floor of the inn you are in.
The fights should be handled by Kalinka. She should be killing one enemy per turn, just hold Z.
On floor 3 room with captives is a hard to miss urn with stat boost.
Continue until floor 6.
Floor 6 has somewhat hard to find room to the north which has stat boost.
Continue to floor 7 after that.
Floor 7 is a pushover boss fight.
Keep going in the story now until you reach sewers.
In sewers there is nothing interesting.
Run away if you see solo slime.
Other groups are easy/fine as long as you equip something remotely decent.
Keep going until you reach seemingly dead end in NW corner.
East of it is a 'wall' you can go through to see a strong enemy you likely can't defeat solo. Memorize this area - we will be returning here in chapter 5.
You don't need to go there however - what you need is a hard to see ladder going up in this 'dead end'.
In new area - north is dead end so go south.
There is nothing interesting for a long while so keep going with the story.
Eventually Kudan joins you.
Visit 3rd Empire with him.
Inside 3rd empire you need alley approx in the middle of the area for a cutscene to start.
Proceed into Devil's Factory through revealed exit.
Kudan should carry you even if you are weak.
In 1st area the only interesting loot is in NE corner - a gold urn with stat boost.
In the 2nd area there is another hard to miss urn not far from start of area - north from the 'loads of shelves' place.
In 3rd area kudan will leave you and in 4th you will finally fight the boss so prepare your diana with at least some gear.
The boss shouldn't be too hard unless you are very underleveled. Simple first aid spam is enough to sustain you for a few turns.
As fight goes on you will eventually get the ultimate move for Diana which makes the remaining fight pretty much guaranteed win.
Scenes happen, eventually you control Polca again.
Simply keep going where the game tells you to, there are no secrets.
Eventually chapter will end.
North from you is church with a healing, south is minor consumables.
For main progress you need to go all the way north.
But first go into east building. there are shield stands with mithril/force shields.
There is also miniboss on top of the building and a chest with crystal armor behind it.
You will get blocked by a barrier so visit the west watchtower.
It also has 2 shield stands.
Press the lever to remove barrier.
Before entering castle - west/east from it are chests. West one has an evasion necklace.
Inside the castle - there is nothing to do until you reach the throne room so just keep heading north.
Once you can move after cutscenes in throne room - grab 2 red chests nearby for 2 crystal helmets.
East wall from the throne has a SECRET passage you can walk through.
To the south are 2 chests. Between them is a cracked wall which reveals 3rd chest and yields ACHIEVEMENT.
Also yields incredibly good defensive armor piece - I would say it's probably worth replacing the bikini armor for since it's only 5% evasion.
As you leave the throne room - Mebius will split from your party.
Talk to him to change his equipment. I recommend equipping him with gear you grabbed along the way - the crystal stuff gives massive defense and lacking evasion doesn't really matter as you wouldn't really dodge with Mebius anyway.
For accessory slots - x2 empire cloaks are good enough. This will likely bring your defenses to ~500+.
I also recommend feeding him books.
Your main party goes into the western hall.
1st room there has a crystal armor.
2nd has healing point.
All other doors aside of last one are locked. Last one gives spirit soul stone.
Once inside next area - your main goal is north BUT go into sewers first to the west.
You will be inside the place I told you to remember.
East wall from you has a secret path forward.
Fight the 'strong enemy' you previously skipped.
It's a boss and it's main trick is that it will get stronger if you slay slimes around it. So simply ignore those and focus on single target attacking the boss.
Beating it yields ACHIEVEMENT and 2 stat boosts behind it.
Head back and into the world tree now.
Inside first area simply head south.
2nd area has a golden urn with stat boost.
Enter cave/3rd area.
3rd area has a secret place with ACHIEVEMENT.
Once you reach northernmost point of it - the wall in the middle should lead north into a secret room.
This also yields an armor similar to dark armor from other achievement. The only difference is it's 50% light damage decrease instead of dark.
It's useless for now but for hardest optional fights it will be a must for Ange.
Continue into 4th area. It has golden urn with stat boost at start.
4th area eventually leads back into 3rd area centre which leads into 5th area.
Inside 5th area go west first.
Golden urn with stat boost along the way.
Go inside the cave - there will be another stat boost along the way and an assault drone chest at the end.
Assault drone is THE best accessory.
It's kinda an onion cape with +40 atk on top of it.
I recommend lily using assault drone/turbo arm and kalinka using sage glove/onion cape.
Backtrack all the way to where you entered 5th area. Go down this time.
Head east across the bridge - first climb the vine south to get a stat boost urn.
Climb the vine back up and proceed further east and north through the darkness to get Mana Armor - not too great.
Backtrack to the road split. West is dead end with nothing so only south remains.
Nothing noteworthy until you reach the next road split which has a golden urn with stat boost nearby.
This is actually not a road split however - the only way to go on is west.
As you climb the ladder up to the north you might notice a chest nearby.
The main path further is leading south BUT there is a slightly hidden 'bridge' to the west - use it first.
It's a narrow road leading to 'powerful enemy'.
It's a boss which grants ACHIEVEMENT and a superb accessory for Sarasa which allows you to use a better staff on her due to MP regen. It also gives her holy magic she otherwise doesn't have.
Boss is not particularly strong but it does have one move which will guarantee kill 1 target unless you evade it.
Boss also has 2 stat urns behind it.
There are no more secrets - it's a straight road to game finale from now on consisting of only bosses/scenes.
Go into final area to the south. There is a healing point you can use which is where boss fights start.
Make sure you set your party correctly as you won't have chance to swap it.
Your FIRST SLOT however will be replaced with Polca unless you have her. So you kinda are forced to use her instead of Naj... not a big deal.
You start with a Mebius fighting Kudan. Change equipment if you didn't yet.
Kudan is pretty strong.
Upkeep atk/matk debuffs from Monsoon on him. Reapply if he does his offensive buff which cancels the debuff.
Aside of that - use consumables to not die and you will be fine.
Eventually you will enter second phase which should be pretty easy.
Next boss is with main party.
It has 7 phases but it should have weakness to basic attacks from both Lily and Kalinka...
Which makes it at most like 1-2 turns per phase and super easy.
After this are some cutscenes and eventually 3 more fights.
First is super easy.
Lily will join in 2nd fight and carry it for you.
3rd is somewhat challenging but nothing problematic - use carnivorous/ultimate when HP allows and full heal when needed.
Game finishes after that but there is still unique content in NG+.
Diana is kinda neat to have gear on as this means she will start with it.
I recommend giving Polca both +basic attack accessories and equipping whip with her.
Skip prologue skips the Geo Louise part of the game.
This also means you lose a potential 2nd divine dragon hair hat but it's IMO useless in this game.
Unless you miss some prologue achievement - don't bother with it.
If you are following the guide - the only achievements you miss now are the 2nd playthrough ones.
Before we continue - let me explain what is new:
1) You can basically get all items 2nd time(aside of mebius helmet sadly, he will stick with what you select for his equipment no matter what)... but most stuff is not worth.
Oh, the doremi shop stuff is only purchasable once as well, but it's not too big a deal.
2) All content you previously missed can be redone if you want to as well.
3) Doremi 'cloth' shop is now accessable allowing you to purchase looks for your characters.
4) New optional fights which are also the hardest in the game become available, I will summarize them further below.
Most of which are what you need for the final set of achievements.
My recommendations for 2nd playthrough:
1) Use ctrl+f and search for 'stat boost' to see if there is any along the way of main quest, might as well grab them if possible.
2) The only worthy gear copies are IMO:
Sage Glove(can't miss it), Battle princess necklace(defeat emperor when it's solo Polca vs Emperor in southern continent), Heaven's Claw(memory near Kalinka), Onion Cape(memory talk to farmer), Princess Dress(2nd empire), Assault Drone,
Dark/light armors are kinda okay'ish too.
TECHNICALLY you might want 3rd dragon buckler to maximize attack as that's the only shield with atk.
Polca technically becomes a viable basic attacker. I still think Naj buffs are more useful though.
3) Do not bother with EX dungeons - waste of time mostly.
4) Skip dialogues fast by holding ctrl.
5) Ape land is still best grind place to reach 99
Don't grind before you get Lily obviously.
It shouldn't take longer than ~5-10 hours to rush only main content.
Tackling all unique NG+ content/achievements in difficulty+access order:
1) Doremi Outfits - available the earliest.
Each character outfit is 500 per and there are 3 types - bad end, doremi and naked.
So a total of 3500*3 = 10500 to get them all.
There are also unlock requirements but progress requirements are 'carried over' - so you should have them all by default if you did optional stuff before.
2) Once you have diana - go to Bohelos market and interact with weapon case which allows you to purchase final skill for her - Javelin missiles.
It costs 200k to buy it and 100k per 1 ammo.
Gives ACHIEVEMENT.
3) A chest during 3rd empire first visit. After you reach battle stage 1 - proceed to next area. There will be 2 chests blocked by 'red eye' monster and a new wooden chest which has Polca blindfolded outfit.
4) Remember the locked house in the Ape area that I mentioned before? It's now open and leads to a talk with developer about different stuff, mostly game development + ACHIEVEMENT.
BEFORE you tackle everything below - clear everything you want up to right before 2nd empire attack/last free time period
The fights below are among hardest fights in the game.
I personally didn't bother to grind all the way until 99.
My main party was ~lvl 90 with the except of Naj who was lvl 81(but his level does not matter as much)
5) We will start with the easy fight - go to Plana.
If you head into colosseum - a BOSS battle with start against Tenka Taihei(character from devs very first RPG)
Poison/Bleed do 12k damage per turn each so not really worth applying.
He only has ~120k HP and is only weak to 'human'.
He drops 'Tenka Cloth' - a 2 handed glove weapon for Kalinka with +5 basic attacks.
It's attack is exactly same as if you were to equip Heaven claw + Dragon buckler(a small attack boost)
Sadly it doesn't have any element which means it's not really a big damage increase BUT it allows you to use x2 Sage Glove to reach ~650-700 attack value while still having 6 basic attacks. So you do COMPARABLE damage without it having to be weakness.
6) The final set of battles happens in Bohelos Estate - the room opposite of hot spring is now open.
You can quit at any time - so don't worry you won't be 'stuck'.
It's a good place to level up as well - normal enemies here give ~15k exp and Polca with heaven Claw, Lily with Crystal Abyss sword and Kalinka with Tenka weapon will each kill one enemy before they move.
Ironically Mebius can't be used/leveled here either however... so not great if you want 'everyone' to level 99.
MAKE SURE ANGE USES LIGHT ELEMENT ARMOR - a lot of enemies and bosses do it here.
Each 'restoration' point is a new 'teleportation' place so make sure to interact with them once at least.
There are no important 'secrets' in this dungeon.
First boss will happen shortly after 2nd restoration node.
It's Samidare +2 fodder enemies. She can pack quite a damage but ultimately as solo opponent shouldn't pose a trouble.
She has 340k HP and takes 34k from poison/bleed. Worth applying once but not worth more than once since chance decreases too sharply and even 1st application is not high chance.
My lvl 94 Kalinka with Mega Buster on her and crit dealt ~10k damage per attack for a total of up to 60k per turn if all crit.. and crit chance is very high with princess dress + Naj crit buff.
She drops gold buckler - 15% evasion shield with good stats but no HP regen. Still worth IMO.
Next boss fight is in the Throne Room.
You will fight against a core party of 4 bosses from King exit.
Geo Louise has 450k HP, Knight Arbent has 350k HP, Monk Valu has 320k HP, Magician has 190k HP.
Mage has lowest HP so good target.
Monk's main annoyance is buffing so take him down 2nd.
Geo Louise has a 'Do or Die' so it's best to leave her for last and don't touch her too much early on.
Naj can slip everyone with very high chance. And nothing really has big damage here.
Chance of bleed/poison is super low here so don't bother.
Reward is a dark element 2 handed weapon with MASSIVE atk value... also a few stat boost items.
Sadly weapon is kinda useless. Kinda okay to speed up Kudan fight with Mebius.. but that's it.
The final and hardest battle however is further north.
It's a boss battle against stronger Geo Louise + 2 souls.
Each can move twice.
Geo Louise has 500k HP, Healing soul has 250k HP and Strike soul has 450k HP.
Geo Louise has a skill which can BYPASS evasion and agro of Ange, not even guarantee evasion works against it.
Despite healing soul having low HP - it hardly does anything. Ironically best strategy is to rush kill Geo Louise.
MAKE SURE NAJ HAS BROTHER OR MOTHER PENDANT.
Due to the loads of evasion penetrations - I recommend Ange also using 1 'brother or mother' necklace.
Geo Louise has 'ultimate' - there will be an attack dealing ~15k damage to everyone bypassing protection of Ange. It can be dodged but the only reliable way to survive is via 1 HP survive accessories.
Your best way to avoid this is slipping enemies as often as possible with Naj while maintaining heavily evade buffed Ange who ulti whenever she can unless Naj is ulti'ing
So.. yeah.. best strategy is pretty much poisoning geo louise and then attacking her.
As long as you have light armor on Ange - she won't take much from light magic.
You will very likely have to use a few spirit soul stones.
It all comes down to how lucky you get with taking down Geo Louise basically... it can be super easy or super hard depending on how RNG decides it.
Naj has high chance of disabling the enemy for a turn with his ultimate.
Basically keep in mind that Naj and Ange ulti are both essentially 1 turn when your chance to wipe out is very low.
Don't bother with poison more than twice... Even more than once is pretty low chance.
Don't be afraid to use spirit soul stone just to be safe. Better use it than get wiped out randomly.
Once Geo Louise is dead - your chance to lose is nearly 0 as long as you don't 'relax'.
Strike soul with very low chance can do 2 very strong AoE skills in a row which is basically the only potential danger. Take it down and you have essentially won.
Your reward is a one handed sword with 20% TP regen and dark/light element. Kinda decent for Naj.
There is also a chest with unique stat boost consumable which is... simply a combination of all non luck/agi stat boost items.
6) As you progress main quest and are in the Second Empire - there is unique costume in second empire - Bride dress for Polca.
It's in the same room as Princess Dress.
7) With the above completed you have technically done HARDEST challenge.
But there is still 1 achievement which requires you to progress main quest until the very last boss.
Once you are at the last 'healing point' right before the boss - you will see a 'pillar' nearby - interact with it and agree for a harder version of final boss.
The boss itself is mostly same but all his phases get 'super blessing' which makes them have much higher stats and one new move which ignores the protection of Ange.
You are still forced with Polca in 1st slot if you don't take her, so no Naj.
I would say the fight is a bit easier compared to last fight against Geo Louise in 'King' form.
Keep 1 brother/mother necklace on Ange as boss has some nasty big hit moves.
Final phase of the battle is the most annoying where a lot of full party wipes will be used.
Some spirit soul stone uses might be required.
But on a positive note - final phase is 'fast' and it can be retried directly if your RNG fails and you get wiped.
It's full RNG pretty much.. boss can both do nearly nothing or use some full party wipe multiple times in a row to nigh guarantee full party wipe...
First turn decides if you win or not usually.
Boss has increased accuracy but can't bypass evasion so keeping it decreased with 'Heavy Metal' of Lily makes you almost guaranteed not to die.
The HP of boss is pretty low however - 2-3 turns of lucky Kalinka hits and a phase is done.
Reward is Seven's Sword - a claw with dark element, +6 basic attacks and atk a bit lower than 'heaven claw'/'tenka cloth'.
Basically a bit better than Tenka Cloth... or a lot if it hits someone weak to dark.
But there is nothing you can use it for aside of maybe trying some speedrun or something for fun.... since if you were following my guide - you have now completed absolutely everything in the game, congratulations!
Thank you very much for the guide!
PLEASE... can someone elaborate?? I spent at least 1 hour to get to the 7th phase (where he's a f---ing goblin) and it feels like the fight were dragging on f---ing forever and I was this close to rage deleting this game forever
What was I doing wrong?? half my party is lvl 99 and the rest are pretty close. I must be a complete and utter dimwit who shd give up gaming like 4ever or something
F--- this game
Are you using the full party HP/MP/TP items regularly to avoid risks?
Just need to be sure we are on the same page.
EDIT: oh wait, that's a BASIC version, not hard one? There is certainly something wrong then, so the above details will certainly give you an answer.
With Ange I focus on Def and MDef, gave her Older Bro's Pendant to avoid one shots and just keep up shields for the party. Also the party's wrong cuz I've Polca, Ange, Kalinka & Sarasa
Well I calmed down a bit after the initial post and was able to pick out the essential points in your Guide on equipment & strate... gonna give it another try now. Many thanks!!
(still 7 forms that's a bit messed up)
Because that one is brutal in comparison, I honestly though that's the one you had problem with since I didn't even reach 99 by time I did it but never had problem with the original version of the fight.
Ange - that's a big problem, the def/mdef doesn't matter much when things will kill you in 1 turn if a lot of stuff hits you.
The high focus should be evasion on every single equipment piece that can have it except maybe chest for which you take either dark or light dress(those are simply too good) depending on the fight... and spamming evasion buffs. NOT getting hit reliably is almost the only way to survive.
As for party - I am not using Polca/Sarasa, instead using Naj/Lily, yes.
But polca/naj choice is not a big deal, so being forced to use her for this boss is not the end of the world.
Sarasa however gets highly outdated in end game due to how physical multi attacks simply surpass the potential damage. Lily also having great debuff kit on top of that.
Poison/bleed from lily alone is a solution to a lot of bosses.
Yep thanks! Just cleared the game by following your essential points (turned out I had most of the recommended gear) and was able to defeat each form in 3-4 rounds on average. It's hilarious how different things get once you learn to do them the right way...
One last question though: is the main story any different in NG+? If not guess I'm permanently done with this game :)
