i do not care about these games but i find it infinitely annoying that they still put unnecessary work into stripping them of their content and then making a patch on a website to put it back in all to sell it on a store front that has accepted full frontal nudity on its pages for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ages now

its a precaution since steam does remove games for that exact reason, even if its popular - Rip Evenicle 2

Even with the patch, is it supposed to still have some censorship or am I missing something?

No censorship w/ the patch unless you set it yourself in the options.

some countries actually block those games from the store
Germany for instance has the whole "erotic" tab banned and locked - any game that is in there (which this game would be with the patch) is not purchasable.
Germany is the 5th biggest market in the world for videogames and the biggest one in europe (China -> US -> Japan -> Korea -> Germany -> UK -> France -> Canada -> ...)

where is that?

1.Go ahead and navigate to the
Store Page tab of The imperial gate keeper in Your library

2.There you'll see PUBLISHER: Kagura Games
it'll be highlighted blue
Click it boi

3.YE'll be brought to the Steam Publisher: Kagura Games Page

4.Right Below Kagura Games, directly above Follow/Following button(in a green box)
Third one towards the right will say - Kagura Games Website(icon for link)
Taking u off steam to whatever default browser ya use.

5.Then Boom, Ye at https://www.kaguragames.com. Front page

6.look for patch tab, which is after the search bar and shop tab
Click It

7.the free patches for all kagura games are here. Find The imperial gate keeper on this website
And Click IT

8.Website is gonna ask ya to add it to cart. If anyone has an account with the website
then do that.

- If ya don't(like myself) -

9.Then scroll a little bit down til u see tabs for
DESCRIPTION/CHARACTERS/VIDEO/PATCH/SOFTWARE INFORMATION/ADULT
CONTENT WARNING/REVIEWS(0)
Click PATCH Tab

10.Giving 2 options
Mirror 1
Mirror 2
I think Mirror 1 works but i forgot of the 2. which one i installed. Cause i did both,
trying to troubleshoot which was glitched
Like mirror 1 is easy, it opens automatically after ya download it. With Mirror 2 it
opens a document page, where user can choose to view download or download
After choosing to download from the website. then opens installer
patch. Mirror 1 does that without what i'd call an extra step
(again i have no exp on software programming)

That's where ya find the most recent patch for all Kagura Games
(TO My KNOWLEDGE)

if applicable, here"s how install patch on steam deck. for that uncensored golly glory

Install the game:
  • First install the game through the steam deck interface.

Switch to Desktop Mode
  • Press the STEAM button
  • Go down to the Power option
  • Select Switch to Desktop

Download the patch files
  • Download the uncensor patch files from the Kagura Games website. You can use the Firefox browser for this.

Download a few tools using Discover:
  • You’ll need to install some programs.
  • Click on Discover on the taskbar(the blue icon that looks like a shopping bag)
  • In Discover search for and install these 2:
  • Flatseal
  • Bottles

Run Flatseal
  • Click on the steam deck icon on the bottom left(like the windows start menu)
  • Run Flatseal
  • On the window that comes up, click on Bottles.
  • On the right hand side, scroll down until you get to Filesystem.
  • Where it says “Other file” click on the folder+ icon.
  • In the text field that shows up below type in “/run/media/mmcblk0p1” without quotes.
  • Close Flatseal.(it saves automatically)

This gives Bottles the ability to access your micro sd card. If you don’t do this, when you run the patchers later, you will not be able to locate the directory where the game is installed.

From what I’ve seen, everyone’s micro sd card name is the same “mmcblk0p1” but just in case yours isn’t, you can open the Dolphin File Manager from the taskbar, on the left scroll down to Removable Devices > Primary and then click on the path name on the top and just copy that without the “/” at the end.

Prepare Bottles:
  • From the Start menu, run Bottles.
  • Go through the tutorial and add a new bottle.
  • You can call it whatever you want, but choose Environment: Application.
  • Wait for it to finish creating the Bottle.(it will take awhile)

Installing the patch:
  • In Bottles, click on the Bottle name you just created and click the Run Executable button.
  • In the window that comes up, navigate to where you downloaded the Patch files from Kagura games earlier.
  • Choose the file you want and Run it.
  • When you get to the part that asks you to locate the Game install directory, click Change.
  • Click the + next to the one that’s just a “/”
  • Follow this path(assuming you have installed the game on the microsd)
  • / > run > media > mmcblk0p1 > steamapps > common > (name of the game)

This is straight from the link that says its malicious.
If you can't get it working first install the game on your SD card since the path it gives is for SD card. Run the game once and exit then follow the steps. So far I have confirmed the patch works on Summer Memories +, Apostle: rebellion, Succumate, and Succubus Affection.

This was a while ago however back in August since then steam has rolled out a couple updates and I do not know if that had any effect on installation of patches.

I can confirm least on my end this method is still viable 2022 November
