Do enemies have an invisible damage resist stat?
I regularly notice that Nickle's phase modes don't actually deal the damage it says it does. It's like all the time now when it says it deals 4-8k worth of damage on a 3k hp enemy and after the attack the enemy has like 2.3k hp left.

It's like it's hardcapped at 1000-ish damage or something.

Did you do the minigames perfectly? Some of the attacks require you to press some button to get a higher damage. If you dont execute them well you'll get lesser damage.

I am almost done with the game and are just doing the ZX enemy variants and grinding skill points so I have gotten very used to the timings and stuff.

As I was playing earlier I notice this happens to Nickle’s normal attacks as well.
Say I do nightingale damaged boosted twice for 4000 damage and an enemy has about 3200 hp then after the 4000 damage they remain with about 2900 hp left.

It’s like Nickle in particular can only deal 1/5’th of his actual visual damage because the math doesn’t properly add up.

I don’t see this happening to Bella’s attacks as they always deal the proper damage as it says on screen.
