Reclutar a Badeaux - Recruit Badeaux (Suikoden II)
Hola!

¿Alguna idea? Gracias!

Hello!

I met Badeaux at the Pass to the Matilda Region, but he only speaks to me in ellipses. I read that you can recruit him with an animal in your party, but I've talked to him with Shiro in the party, and it's still the same. I've also tried Shiro, Gengen, Gabocha, and Mukumuku (I don't know if these can be considered animals...), but nothing happens.

I'm at the point in the story when we win the battle against Kiba and Klaus (I already recruited them).

Any ideas? Thanks!

hola,
you need a castle level 3, so recruit more people and come back later

Oh, thanks! And how can I find out the castle's level? It's something I couldn't see in Suikoden I one either.
when the castle levels up, you have an animation when entering the castle from the map and you can see small changes in the overall layout of the castle.
but i don't think you can check the actual level anywhere

It's weird, because I've been recruiting a lot of characters, you can see the changes, but there hasn't been any animation.

That's Suikoden 1.
Suikoden 2 the easiest way is checking your bathhouse. You get a new bath type per level up aside from the unlockable fifth bath.
my bad, i thought it was in the 2 games but you're right

You can also visibly see it from the world map.

That too but I noticed Lv.3 and 4 barely have a difference in the world map so I just stuck with checking the baths. Lv.2 is easy enough because the music changes.
