Battle Speed
I noticed on 1 that for a while it would do double fast forward and then I realized I could do triple fast forward. Now I'm playing 2 and I can only do double FF. SO what's the deal, it gives you triple later on in the game?

You gain more speed toward the game. I noticed lvl 3 in Suikoden 2 around Toran Republic.

You get triple speed when you recruit Stallion in both games. Even when he's not in the party.

Unlock level 3 speed after you get Stallion recruit.
