Yeah price is dumb and not going to entice anyone but preexisting fans who most likely will still boggle at the price point. Both of these games are games I was around for when they were new and often thought looked cool when seeing them in gaming magazines, but as a kid you can only buy so many games, even renting wise I never got around to these games, but due to always being interested in them and always hearing good things I was looking forward to this collection, but 50 is too steep to just take a chance on this game, not a fan of abusing the steam return system and the fact there are some other pricey newer games that have just come out or will be coming out that I am already planning to pick up. So I can't really justify paying for 50 for a game that might just end up boring me or simply falling into the backlog.

40 still seems high, but at least would have nudged me a tad more, but honestly feels more like a 30 dollar collection at best. As it is now this will just be something I eventually pick up on sale. Hope everyone else who is buying it at launch enjoys it tho.

Wait for a sale then. *shrugs*
50 is not really that much, especially for 2 games.

If paying full price for this Suikoden I/!! Remaster means they also end up remastering the other Suikoden games then it's money well spent with the added bonus of being able to retire my Playstation. If and when they remaster Suikoden III-V I can then retire my PS2. I'd pay full price for III/V all over again and wait for a decent sale on IV.
Must be living hard.

$50 for two games. So, $25 per game.

Considering how much copies of the original go for on sites like E-Bay and what not, it's very affordable.
seriously grow up
$50 for two RPGs with replay value is a fair price.
You... You don't know what you're complaining about, do you?
This pair of games are some of the best jrpgs to be made before 2000.

Go ahead and google how much it costs to get a copy of this game. Or its sequel.
Getting a copy of both physical game will each cost you hundreds of dollars. At least.

If they work.

Other than that, there is no legitimate way to play these games. Emulation is your only discourse. This will be the first time we've been able to buy Suikoden, at a normal price, in the last 25 years.

You simply don't know what you're talking about.

50$ for 2 remastered games is a steal.

Suikoden 1 cost about 60 bucks by itself back in the 90s, when we were playing on those 15 inch crt tvs.

It would probably cost 90$ if Konami releaased it today.

I understand if moneys tight, but if you're willing to pay 70$ for other games, 50$ for 2 Suikoden games is nothing, especially when we are talking about FRICKEN SUIKODEN.

I would pay that much just for the possibility of having mods in the future.

I cant wait to see what kind of crazy mods the community comes up with now that Suikoden 1 and II will be officially on PC>

Someone please make Suikoden II all about me, make it Shiro's Journey and how I became the leader of the stars of destiny,. ....... awoooooooooooo!

If the price is a problem for people, both GreenManGaming and Fanatical currently have a 25% pre-order discount for Suikoden. You can pick the Steam version up for $/€37.49 from them.

Get it on green man gaming or other key sites, way more affordable, on GMG it's on a 22% sales off and it should have been the standard price honestly.

It's 2 games in 1 first off, you have 100s of hours of gameplay for the same price as 1 new game today... please enlighten me on how it's priced too high
These are my #1 game of all time (I consider them one game) I'm happy as heck to get an updated version at any price so that I don't have to pull out an old ps2 system. I just wish they could have added a lot more bonus stuff like concept artwork something. Get ready to throw some dice everyone!
