Oh yes, like this fact. The og S1 censored crucifixions, yes. Now what Konami game came out afterwards? Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. What did you see when using the cross sub-weapon or Richter's item crash with the cross? Jesus crucified, not tampered with at all from the Japanese version. The Bible sub weapon? Still had a cross on it. Pentagram and Bat Pentagram (even though that's much more significant to Jews than Christians but w/e)? Still there. I guess the big bad Christian establishment was either asleep or must really like Castlevania over that Suikoden trash.
Wanna go further than that? Phantasy Star Online let you use the Ten Commandments as a weapon. Complete with its Greek name and the description: "Strange stone tablets that can supposedly part water."
How about Shin Megami Tensei? Everybody's here like Smash Ultimate. Except Gabriel anyway, remember how the first SMT Gabriel had a snippet in his description about being the one who dictated the Qur'an to Muhammad yet that part was dropped in later sequels while it wasn't even here yet or even in any Muslim country.

I, too, think to remember the crosses present in North Wind (S2) bit I might be wrong.
Definitely no crucifixion in S1 though.

The crosses (grave markers) in North Window were present in the original Western version of Suikoden II. Only reason I can think they were cut is religious pandering out of fear of offending someone who doesn't like Christian iconography or something. I can't see any other reason that they'd change crosses marking graves to planks of wood.

I uninstalled the remaster when I saw they had been censored, I was annoyed by all the things they censored: the blood, Judgement pentagram etc. But this one really angered me in how senseless it was. I'll play the original games on Duckstation until modders fix the ridiculous censorship in the remaster.

So quick to anger you don't see any other possibility besides the ones that justify your anger.

For instance, why can't it be possible they made those Pentagram and gravestone changes as western symbology doesn't fit a story based on a Chinese book? Nobody knows right now besides the developers. This isn't some "woke" western censorship, Konami made this remaster.

The games are fantastic, any changes are minimal and we can only assume as to why the changes were made. Why can't people just enjoy well made media without seeking something to be outraged by?
