Report a translation problem
M = Medium range. They can attack on any row.
L = Long range. They are better for the back row.
Their range.
Short means they have to be in the front row to attack.
Medium means they can be in either, but the animation is melee.
Long means they can be in either, but the animation is long range.
Or it's related to how their stats build and vulnerability. Not really sure in the grand scheme of things the difference between M and L.
Short can attack only from the front row, and target enemies in the front row.
Medium can attack from both rows but only target enemies in the front row.
Long can attack from both rows any enemy they want.
