Keyboard Issue

Im playing this on a PC.
So im trying to recriut Karen in Suikoden 2, the dance requires you too use the L1 and R1 to do the spins but they are not bound to the keyboard. Does anyone have fix for this issue?

man am i happy that i invested 60€ for a microsoft xbox controller x_x.
sounds like the keyboard controls are not only horrible (like i seen in other topics), you dont know what does what on your keyboard either xD.

my recommendation, buy a controller ^^'
still bad that it is like this tho.

even more weird is that the steam page says (when you scroll down) that it only partially supports controllers xD.
i think i wrote that in another topic aswell.

I use WASD, right shift to cancel, right ctrl to open the menu and enter to interact. Haven't tested what z, x and c do. Have you tried ALL the keys? I'm not there yet, so better start working on finding out.

I mean if you have an old PSX controller laying around you can buy a cheap adapter, pretty sure there's ones that can also adapt it to xinput too.

I tried all keys.. :/ doesnt work

you can move your hands and the feets but you can turn around neither left or right. This were the R1 and L1 keys on the PSX controller...

Dont know why they didnt put it into the game even the ePSX solved it :/ :D

Try everything..
even faceroll the keyboard :D

If you're on kb, don't do practice mode. They forgot to bind the shoulder buttons to keys but are working on it. The actual recruitment dance though doesn't require them, so you can recruit Karen.

Lol, a guy on another thread mentioned xinput and that's what I downloaded. Even got the achievement for dancing with Karen on hard. The tempo is what starts to mess with you, so I got to my own Whiplash scene there until I got it. Even made a meme.

Anyways, try emulating a controller with your KB in the meantime? Worked for me!

I found I could recruit her using the numpad on the keyboard (as she doesn't spin in the recruitment dance)
