Hero levels.
Hello everyone. Do you guys level most of the heroes or just your core team? because i am running out of money upgrading and gearing up a lot of heroes lol. Also does hero level affect the attack power during war battles?

Core team only and no, war battles are literally rock paper scissors. Same with duels.

ok thanks. I thought leveling them will make war battle attack stronger since they allow us to click teams of heroes there and they have attaack powers. I will concentrate on a few favorites then. This game is not good for people like me who has ADHD. I like a lot of the heroes haha. Like I want to use an all elf team, Bandit team, Ex-imperial team lol

i like to level 2 parties worth personally. just because I like having some variety. but i also try to switch it up every time i play too so i don't just use the same few characters

yea same. But it is challenging to gear them all. Right now I try to swap gears by dumping their gears on castle warehouse then put them on my new character to save money haha

never be afraid to sell things imo. when i get runes i know i'll never use (poison, chimera, generic runes like fire/water/etc) as drops, I sell them too. I will also strip everyone I'm not using and sell everything too. also, i'd throw your prosperity rune on some you know is gonna be there almost always, or that you can almost always take. I started playing 2 first, so mine went onto nanami asap. but even then, still burning through cash as fast as i make it, but I know later on I'll just rake in the G with random battles (like when I get to the toran republic area)

Yes I put prosperity rune on Gremio for now. However i know at some point he will leave us. Will the rune be automatically transferred to us or should I put it on someone else now?

If you're talking war, do you mean in 1 or 2? I don't remember the mechanics that well. One thing I can tell you about Suikoden 1 is that people with low HP are more likely to die in war, permanently. And if they do, you can't get the best ending.

Ya i feel that. I wish there were more opportunities to use more heroes. Like have to create 3 teams of six for some dungeons. That'd be dope.

Well, there is that one boss fight in Suikoden II, but yeah, there should be more things like that.

I use a Random Character Picker and just select random parties for every dungeon ( once I have enough characters to do so.), so many characters i love , i just end up not being able to decide and felt its best if I let Fate Decide for me.

True. Wish we can make pre-sets we can swap into on the fly.
