Slow Performance / Lag on battle Screen

Opening FMV and battle screens have serious lag. my computer meets the spec (although its an older laptop) and generally runs games like this fine. Also had issues with the FFIX FMVs recently.

Any ideas?

Do you have a dedicated GPU or integrated graphics (CPU)?

I have the same issue. Older laptop, it's about 10 fps on battle screen, while running something like witcher 3 just fine.

For a laptop you can look up whatever their proprietary part is and say compared to processors or GPU. Then look up the comparison GPU/Processor to see if it's above the minimum requirements.

are you sure your laptop is using the actual graphics card (if it has one) and isnt using the integrated graphics by mistake?

i did a test on this game on current and older laptop.
my oldest GPU 940mx run the game well with no issue too lol...
But intergrated newer laptop does have issue
so graphic requirement isn't that high for the game
