Pre order bonuses later?

Do you think they will make the pre-order bonuses available later as a DLC add-on unfortunately I forgot it came out today

I'm thinking no, because what you get can be gotten in the normal game, but we'll see.

They are items that you can get in game. Nothing special, just makes the beginning of the game easier so you don't have to grind.

Even if they don't, a cheat table will likely be out within days and you can just add exactly what the preorder bonus is without cheating further if you prefer.

Konami has a history of not selling pre-order bonuses DLC as separate purchases long after a game's release, as seen with titles like the Silent Hill 2 remake, Contra: Rogue Corps, and the Metal Gear Master Collection Vol. 1.

Yep. Everything it provides you can get in game. The bonus just removes the work you'd have to put in. But to be fair you can get two (technically you have to decide which rune you want, but still...) of the 3 early in the game if you follow a guide and the other you'd have to grind a bit for.

So for anyone interested, I ran into this issue myself even though I pre-ordered. I have PC and Steam Deck. I didn't create this, but I found it, so the credit isn't all mine. I found it and it worked for me. Hope you enjoy, cheers! :CatMorta:

okay so yes it gives you the bonuses, but I noticed achievements didn't work. I spent hours trying to fix and glad you brought it up since I didn't notice. It took me a while so I'm sorry for the late reply. I updated my link in the previous post. Theres another file needed that was missing. Add the files and overwrite the steam.dll file

-add files to the location
-overwrite
- right click on game and turn off cloud saves
-start new game and say yes to DLC bonues
- make sure you have the bonuses ( potch and 2 bonus orbs )
- save the gave at the inn
- close the game
- go to the game folder

steam deck : /home/deck/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Suikoden I and II HD Remaster/

For PC: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Suikoden I and II HD Remaster

in this folder there is a, "Saves" folder. Backup the entire folder to your desktop

- go back into the original location where you saved the files and remove both of them

- in steam right click the game and verify integrity of game files ( this restores to how it was when you bought the game )

- once done, copy the saves folder you backed up earlier to your desktop and replace the one in there, overwriting it

- go into the save folder and into /4660/gsd1/ and copy your saved games ( they're called data0, data1 etc depending on save slot used ) copy them

- go back to the saves folder and go into 123015293/gsd1/ and paste the saves

- launch the games and make sure your saves are there

- here I loaded the game to be safe and saved again to make sure it sticks

- turned on cloud saving

- achievements now work. I test myself, ran into battle killed something and got the first achievement for winning a battle

It's a pain in the ass, I know, but the bonuses are a nice boost and I wanted to go through the trouble for anyone else like me. I hope you enjoy.

While I do have DLC preorder bonus, this is awesome! You should write this in guides page! Great for people who missing out the DLC.
